As a part of the State of Alabama's Highway Safety Planning process and as a requirement of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a Highway Safety Plan is compiled and distributed each year. This document contains information on counties and various areas throughout the state as well as a number of special studies. The CARE Research & Development Laboratory (CRDL) has been producing this document for a number of years for Alabama and continues to improve the document each year.

For the year 2004, CRDL produced this document for the state of North Carolina for the first time. If your state is interested in having CRDL produce your Highway Safety Plan, please contact us.
